My passion is helping individuals, families, and business owners achieve peace of mind by developing and implementing creative, customized, and cost-effective legal strategies. Whether I am designing a comprehensive estate plan or guiding a business owner through the complexities of selling their company, my goal is always the same: to understand what matters most to you and ensure that your legal documents and strategies are aligned with your personal and financial goals.

In my estate planning practice, I use a goal-oriented process that begins with listening. I seek to fully understand your priorities before offering recommendations. My advice is clear, actionable, and focused on outcomes—empowering clients with plain English explanations and easy-to-understand visual tools so you always know how your plan works and what you need to do to keep it effective. I’m committed to making estate planning accessible, efficient, and streamlined so that families and business owners are motivated to act—and so that future generations never have to face the costly and painful consequences of a lack of planning.

In addition to estate planning, I assist clients in probate and estate administration, helping families carry out plans when a loved one passes away, as well as establishing guardianships for minors, individuals with special needs, and adults who can no longer manage their own affairs. I treat my clients like family—protecting their interests as if they were my own and offering honest, informed guidance every step of the way.

A significant part of my practice is devoted to advising business owners, particularly those preparing to transition or sell their companies. I provide legal guidance throughout the exit process—from pre-sale planning and structuring to negotiation and closing—so owners can maximize the value of their business and exit on their terms. Whether you're ready to sell today or preparing for a future opportunity, I’m here to help you build and execute a smart legal strategy.

I believe that effective legal planning—whether personal or business-related—is critical to my clients' financial, emotional, and long-term well-being. I’m deeply grateful for the trust my clients place in me and honored to play a role in protecting their legacy and hard-earned success.

I earned my undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 2001, where I was a scholar-athlete on the Indiana University football team. I received my JD from Nova Southeastern University in 2004 and was awarded an LL.M. in Taxation from Washington University in 2007. I have been licensed to practice law in Missouri since 2004 and in Illinois since 2010.

I welcome the challenges that new clients bring and look forward to helping you achieve your planning goals with clarity and confidence.
